About The Event
What on earth is a Frühschoppen?
Think of it as the German answer to brunch… just with brass music, Weisswurst and Weissbier instead of smashed avo and mimosas.
A traditional Frühschoppen (pronounced roughly “frooh-shoppen”) is a late-morning get-together where friends and family gather over a Bier, something good to eat and plenty of conversation. In Bavaria, it’s a proper tradition, especially on Sundays and festival days.
And for German Week in Melbourne, we’re bringing the real thing to Hofbräuhaus.
